This momma and her delivery amazed and humbled me. Sweet Myles was their miracle, a long awaited for gift from God. Kathryn labored like no mother I've seen before, she was literally laughing and smiling through the pushing phase. All it took was the midwife telling her he was almost here and the tears, smiles, and determination took her to another level. Kathryn and her husband Nathan are very special people to me... Nathan is the other half of Crouch N Crase Photography here in Columbus. I've had the pleasure of knowing him and Eric (Crouch), as well as Kathryn since high school. Watching them grow their photography business along side mine as been an inspiring thing to watch over the years. In just a few short weeks I'll have the honor of shooting baby Crouch's delivery in April. I am blessed by these guys, and their amazing wives and so honored to share the room as they all become first time parents.
I hope you enjoy their story... and I hope you can see the strength and grace that Kathryn showed throughout the entire process. She was one of a kind and I tip my cap to her.
I'd also like to praise the staff at St. Francis Women's Center. The care that Kathryn and baby received was top notch. The nursing staff was so kind and courteous and truly helped make her birthing experience a positive one. They also have been nothing but amazing towards me doing my job. I can't say how grateful I am for the relationships I'm building at this new hospital.
