Say hello to Annalisa, she is the very first Turner baby to be born in her great-grandmother’s namesake hospital, the Sue Marie Turner Women’s Hospital at St. Francis. I have had the pleasure of knowing her gorgeous momma for years now (I won’t say how many, it makes me feel old). Kayla, took one of my studio photography classes a few years back. She and I instantly clicked, her spunky and sincere personality was infectious. My family (brother, husband, and father) have had the pleasure and honor of working with many others in the Turner family. They are humble and gracious servant leaders in our community, and their impact can be seen all over Columbus.
To be able to shoot this monumental day for my sweet friend Kayla was priceless. She was her true, fun-loving, free-spirited self the entire way through her delivery. But she was also strong, and powerful, and knew exactly what she wanted out of her birth experience.
Kayla, you are a natural… not only during the birth, but coming to your home for your newborn session, and seeing you handle motherhood with such confidence and grace. Keep it up, Annalisa is going to accomplish great things!
And Abb, what a rock of support you gave your bride. Every daughter should be so blessed to have a daddy that loves her mommy like you love Kayla!
