Sometimes little hiccups come along with birth, things you may have not planned for, and sometimes you have to wait. Sometimes you wait moments that seem like lifetimes, hours that seem like days. But nothing can compare to the moment you get to see your baby for the first time, touch your baby for the first time, hold your baby for the first time. Heather, after waiting several hours to get to hold her baby, finally got her hands on sweet Jolie. And the series of photos thereafter are some of my favorites. I’ve never seen a momma manage to snuggle her baby in so many variations in such a short time span. She’s a doll baby and I am so thankful I was able to capture this day for you all!
